If I received a car allowance and gas reimbursement through a third party company while working for my employer. Do I have to file anything for this?

I have received my W2 for this job but nothing for the car allowance so I’m wondering if I can go ahead and file my taxes or if I should wait.

Ask your employer to make sure the car allowance is included on your W-2. You cannot get any federal deduction for job-related expenses on your tax return if you are a W-2 employee.
