Question

If I selected pay electronically will my IN taxes get paid electronically or do I need to send in a check with the voucher? Do I need to send in just the voucher?

I put in my bank info to pay my taxes electronically on turbo tax for federal and state... I recieved an email saying that I need to print off and send in my state taxes... will they get paid electronically or do I need to send a check to the Indiana department of revenue with my taxes? Also do I need to send in all my tax info i.e. W2s and tax return info or just the voucher?

For some reason, you are being asked to file your state return by mail.  So, that means you print your return, sign it attach the W-2s and mail.  Also, use the voucher to mail in the payment you wanted to have auto debited.  Since you did not e-file none of those instructions were transported to the state.

Okay got it. Thank you! Indiana usually makes you mail everything in ig you owe but since I was offered to efile and have my account debited I thought maybe it finally changed 🤷‍♀️ After filing and filing out all the info I got an email from Turbotax saying to mail my state taxes but not much instruction beyond that or if the the debit my account was now null and void. I will do like years before and send it in with a check. Thank you for your help!
