If I sent my return on the April 15 and the irs rejected the refunds can I still e file my return after the deadline

E-filing will be open until October 15, 2024, so yes, you can still e-file it. If you owe tax due the return is late now. You had five days from the deadline to re-file it if it was rejected and still be "on time" if you had to fix a rejected e-file.
