If I sign off and sign on later, will all the information I enter so far be saved?

Yes, the tax data that you enter using the online editions is saved as it is entered. Click on My Account at the top of the program screen. Click on Save & Sign Out.
Just remember your user ID and password so you can return to the account at a later date.
