Question

If I signed up for a FSA dependent on accident how do I show that when filing my taxes

I have no dependents so this was a clear mistake

There is nothing to report on your tax return with regard to a dependent care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).  

 

The money that was deposited into the FSA was pre-tax money, so there is no tax deduction associated with it.  Also, since you will not be claiming any dependent care credit, you will not see any questions on your return about the FSA funds.
