If i upgrade to self employed and don't have qualifying expenses can i get a refund

You aren't required to pay until you either print or e-file your return.  So you can downgrade your product if you'd like, BUT that can only be accomplished by using the "Clear and Start Over" feature.  Keep in mind that all of your data entry will be deleted.  See more info below.
