Question

If I wanted to determine how my taxes would be affected if I lived in a state that has an income tax, how would I do that? Add the state b4 filing, then delete?

I currently do not live in a state that has an income tax.

If you live in a state that has no income tax, you would only file the Federal return.

You won't be able to add a state return if it has no income tax, the state will not show in the drop down menu.
