Solved

If I worked for a company in January 2017, for about 5-7 days, would I still receive a W2? Because I have not received anything.. Could I file without it?

Yes, you should receive a W-2, as one is required for any amount of wages paid to an employee.

And, no, you will want to wait to file until you have received a W-2, as you are required to report all of your wage income on your tax return.
