If it says that I owe $2008 but am getting $4723 back, will I receive a bill for that $2008 or did it come out before the refund?

The best thing to do is to look at your tax return.

To see your 1040

1. On the menu bar on the left that shows.
   1. My Info
   2. Federal
   3. State
   4. Review
   5. File
2. Select Tax Tools
3. On the drop down select Tools
4. On the popup menu
5. Select View Tax Summary
6. On the left sidebar
7. Select Preview my 1040

On your 1040:

• Line 24 is the total tax that you owe before your withholdings.
• Line 33 is the total of withholdings and tax credits that will be subtracted from what you owe.
• Line 34 is the amount to be refunded to you. 
  • If it is blank you will not get a refund.
  • If you paid TurboTax with your refund, those charges are not yet deducted.
• Line 37 is what you owe.  If it is blank, you do not owe anything.
