If my 2020 efile taxes are rejected for incorrect AGI in 2019 and i have verified the number with my 2019 return and the IRS Return Transcript what next?

IF you filed and amended 2019 tax return,  the AGI that was needed is the AGI on the Original first one accepted.....not the amended tax return.   Make sure you use that original  AGI (if you later amended 2019)

 

Otherwise, You try a zero next...then you can change to mail file later if it is rejected again.

IF you filed by mail for 2019, or late for 2019, sometimes the AGI on that year's file doesn't get into the computer that is used for accepting e-files the next year.
