If my itemized deductions total $24,494, will that reduce my tax liability MORE THAN.......
if I use the standard deduction and thus use LESS of my home energy tax credit for 2019 and create a larger carryover for 2020?
I am asking this here because the online software is not allowing me to choose itemized over standard....and there is no override button. It is literally forcing me to choose standard, no matter if I ask it to change to itemized or try other workarounds.
