Question

If my return is being rejected because of my AGI for 2016 but I am putting exactly what is on my 2016 return, what could be the cause of this?

AGI mismatch is a common problem for many e-Filers. The reason is a mystery.
If you don't have at hand the self-select PIN you invented last year, you'll have to file on paper via US Mail.

The funny thing is, the PIN may be hiding in your turbotax return if you imported your return from last year. I can't say for sure because I haven't tried this.

The IRS has a different AGI in their database, however you can find out what that number is so you can e-file. Please see the information below "My AGI is correct, but I still get rejected...."
