Question

If my return was rejected, but I attempted to pay through debit from my bank account, will that payment still go through?

    No it did not ... there may have been a temp charge on the account that will be dropped shortly.

     

    If the return was rejected then no payment info was sent ... you had to mail in the payment with the paper return.  If you did not then you can make a payment online  OR  wait for the bill from the IRS.
