Question

If my spouse died in August and I only received the six hundred dollar stimulus check what amount should I put in as payment?

When I put the six hundred I received my refund amount goes up six hundred dollars which is for my spouse that had already past.  Is this an error in the turbo tax system?

No error.  Yes you get the second $600 for your spouse.  

 

For deceased individuals see the second question under Eligibility.  If they died in 2020 they still get it.
