Question

If my tax, per calculation via the tax computation sheet is $22,869.00. Then $1,567.00 is added as "other taxes" for a total of $24,436.00. Why is there "other taxes"?

I don't believe I should be liable for these "other taxes", why am I?

Look at your actual tax forms, not a summary screen in TurboTax. The other taxes come from Schedule 2. See which lines of Schedule 2 have amounts on them. Those are the other taxes. If there is an amount on Schedule 2 that you don't understand, post the specific line on Schedule 2 that you don't think is right.
