Question

if you download from your brokerage account more than once will it duplicate the download?

    There are reports of a second import of tax information overriding the first import of tax information.  

     

    So, if you have manually recorded wash sales or cost basis adjustments to the previous import of tax information, those changes could be lost.

     

    If possible, print out the tax returns before and after the second import, to see whether there are changes in the downloaded information.
