If you file a Joint return and your spouse owes back child support will they take your whole Tax Refund??

Yes, the IRS can and will.

You need to include in your tax return the Form 8379 Injured Spouse form so that the IRS will Not take your portion of the federal tax refund when you are filing as Married Filing Jointly.
