Question

Im a day late because i kept getting rejected. i figured out the problem, but how do i pay now?

i dont want my bank account attached to the federal amount i owe. but the only options here say,'up until 5/18'. can i just ignore that and still try it?

Yes, you should be able to pay when you file your return.  You can also go to IRS - Make a Payment and pay your tax due.
