Im confused. it says that i get a $4000 tax break for having bella but i dont see it under my tax breaks or how i owe so much after having her

Did the TurboTax announcement that you got a “tax break” confuse you?  You do not receive $4050 for having a dependent.  The "$4050 tax break" you saw means that since you have a dependent, $4050 of your income is "tax free."  Your "dependent deduction" lowers the amount of your income that you have to pay tax on. It is not a refund.

in the Personal Info section, you also need her SSN, and you need to say she lived with you the entire year..... a newborn anytime in 2016 lived with you the entire year..even if it was 31 Dec.
