Im filling my state by mail and unfortunatly misplaced one of my w2s. I only worked at the job for a month but cant get ahold of them to send me a new one. Do i really need that w2 or can a send it ou

Yes.  If you are filing by mail, you need to include your W2's.  You can mail the return with a note saying you have tried to contact your employer for a duplicate copy but have been unsuccessful.  They may send you a letter requiring you to provide it.

 

I assume you had the W2 when you entered it for your return and lost it after entering the information.
