Question

Im trying to file my 2018 taxes, but it keeps registering it as 2019. How do I change that?

You cannot prepare and file your 2018 taxes with the "Online" software now...that possibility ended last October.

 

The Online software can only be used for 2019 taxes  (and that will likely end this coming October).

To file your 2018 taxes now, you must use the Desktop/Download software on a full MAC or Windows computer, and mail in the resulting paperwork too...no electronic filing at this late date.
