import seems to work, but there's no new data

I'm importing from a major brokerage.   Turbotax opens a browser window, I enter my credentials for the brokerage login, and after a few seconds it says "Success! We got your tax data. You can now return to TurboTax".   But there's no data in Turbotax.

Searching around, this seems like a perennial problem.

Crickets here from any Turbotax person, and it's not worth the hassle of trying to call in.  I'll just mail in the 1099-B with Form 8453.    This seems to happen a lot, and I wish Intuit would try to address it.

Someone else saved their file and exited TTX entirely.

Then restarted TTX and they found the new data.

Could be an issue isolated to either MAC, or Windows computers...maybe?
