Through the course of nearly completing (but not filing) by 2024 taxes (Turbotax Premier Desktop), I realize that I need to go back and amend my 2023 taxes. (which i've now done).
Is there a way to import my amended 2023 taxes into my working 2024 file, or am I going to have to restart my 2024 file?
Sorry---you cannot transfer a 2023 tax file into 2024 after you have begun entering 2024 data The transfer has to be done at the very beginning before you enter any 2024 information. If you want to transfer you will have to start over.
