In the childcare section your to subtract section 28 ($4000)from section 27($3000) which equals $1000 but on document it say -$1000.

Subtracting $4000 from $3000 is a negative $1000- not a positive $1000.

If you already used $3000 in expenses for a single child, there would be no additional tax credit for the extra $1000.
