In transferring the information from my W2, in box 14 the form includes a DIPP

    Box 14 on a W-2 is a catchall where employers can track items that don't fit into the other boxes. The descriptions can vary from employer to employer and state to state. However, DI is generally state Disability Insurance and if it is in New Jersey, will include a DIPP number for the employer.

    You will enter it in the box on your W-2, as written, and TurboTax will determine if it is used in your return.
