Incorrect reporting of QBI when preparing tax return - not able to correct manually

The problem is with the TT software.  I am a retired CPA so I am aware of the tax law that addresses the QBID.  I purchased TT online and when the amount of income off a partnership K-1,  it is recorded twice treating it as two income amounts for the QBID.  I KNOW this is incorrect but the program will not let me change the entered amount.  I had to manually finish the tax return and file by mail.  It is a PROGRAM glitch.  None of the tax experts can solve the program as it stands.  I need help from a programmer.  I certainly can walk through the entries with someone who is able to analyze the program.
