Installing two versions of TurboTax on the same PC

Actually you can use just 1 version.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms.  So you can use Deluxe for all.  I would try to get a refund for one of them. 

But here's how to activate a different version. There is a way to have 2 licenses. You don't need to install the second version just enter the License Code. Under Help - Switch Product - Activate new product. Don't know what that will do or what benefit you will get. Don't think it will allow you to efile more than 5.

@KL5744 , I am confused  here -- because  while  TurboTax Premier is pricier than the deluxe, it covers  everything that Deluxe does and  adds investment / rental income capabilities.  Why no use  Premier to do your daughter's   ( and presumably simpler  ) return ?    The limit to have only ONE  version installed at a time has been around for a longtime.

All the windows downloaded version contain all the forms, just the  step-by-step interview  get upgraded as you go up the  version chain.

And in case you didn’t know the Desktop program can do multiple returns and efile 5 federal for free.  You get 1 free State PROGRAM download then each state efile (including the first one) is $25.   Or you can print and mail state for free.
