Intent to assess?

I received a notice if intent to assess from the state after filing my 2018 tax returns. It states that if I do not respond the earned income credit of $13.00 will be disallowed. Are there any other repercussions if I do nothing? Its just that $13.00 doesn't seem to be worth the hassle of photo-copying all my receipts and mailing them in. Does anyone know? I really would appreciate the help, thanks.

you'll owe the $13 + penalties and interest.  however, the  state may block you from claiming the credit on future returns

sort of surprised that the state is challenging a $13 credit.  if you do submit what's requested it may cost them more than that to process
