investment taxable interest income is not able to be entered in add indicated area?

why can i not enter the interest amount in the current 2024 column with the cursor arrow? this is after clicking on the add/edit field.

I believe you are trying to enter the interest income directly on a form. It may not be possible to do it that way. I suggest you enter the interest income as though you are entering a Form 1099-INT. Go to the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then find the Interest and Dividends section, then choose Form 1099-INT.
