Did you get the current IP PIN from the IRS - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin

    from the email

IND-996 - The Dependent/Qualifying Person Identity Protection Personal Identification Number (IP PIN) provided on the return is not valid. Please visit www.irs.gov/getanippin for further information and resubmit your return with the correct number.

are you confusing the 5 digit e-file pin (anything you want) with the 6-digit IRS ID Pin (generated by the IRS, changes every year).  The 6 digit one is the one causing your return to reject, it needs to be input under Other Tax Situations, and you need to get your latest one for calendar year 2025 from your account/profile on the IRS website.
