TurboTax Deluxe 2024.

There are amounts listed on the IRA information worksheet line 6 (Basis in Roth IRA contributions) and line 23 (Cumulative regular Roth IRA contributions, including rollovers).  I don't have a Roth IRA, nor did I enter any amounts for any IRA.  The only IRA information supplied was on my W-2 box 12a for a regular (not ROTH) simple IRA.  Why are there amounts on the worksheet?

The Roth IRA contribution is not used for anything, unless there is an early withdrawal from a Roth IRA.  In that case, it is used to determine how much of the early withdrawal is return of basis which is not taxable or subject to early withdrawal penalty.  The only way amounts get there is if a user indicates they made a Roth IRA contribution in TurboTax in a prior year, in which case it would roll forward, or if they entered prior year Roth IRA contributions this year or in a previous year.   If you didn't enter it, I can't explain how it got there. If you don't have a Roth IRA, it won't affect your tax return.  You can delete the information.
