IRS debit when filing an extension

You can choose to make a payment with your extension using the following methods:
- Direct debit from checking account
- Direct debit from savings account
- Mail a check or money order
If you would like to use a credit card for your payment, mark the "mail a check" option on the extension and then go online to make the payment: Tax Payment Options
