TT insists I need the payer Street address before I can file but the 1099INT form I received only states Dept. of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service Philadelphia, PA.   I called TT support and they told me to google it.  The IRS has 3 offices in Philly. Then TT agent told me to call the IRS.  Seriously!?

First, be sure that you are entering the Form 1099-INT in the correct section of your return.  It is unusual to be required to enter an address for a Form 1099-INT.

If you are still being asked to enter a street address, try putting something like 'US Treasury' in the address field.  This should allow the program to move forward since the field will not be empty.

Enter interest from the IRS like a 1099Int and put the amount in box 1. Enter it manually and just enter IRS for the payer. Don't enter any other info like the address or a EIN.
