My transcript shows code 846 and a refund date of 2-24-25, but where my refund hasn't moved from the first bar. Why is that?

From what I gathered where’s my refund updates on Thursdays. So tomorrow you should notice the bar move, by the 24th you should have it. In in the same boat

That doesn't quite answer my question though. I looked at my irs transcripts and they have been updated, showing my bank will receive my return by the 24th of this month. My question is why hasn't where is my refund boxes moved to reflect what the transcripts say? I am assuming if we paid the 25 dollars to receive funds 5 days early they are going off the wheres my refund site. The site hasn't updated but my transcript has..

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account. If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

I received my refund today but wherea my refund still doesn't even say approved, it hasn't moved. I received federal and state around 6pm eastern time.

I filed with Turbo. My taxes were accepted on 1/17. It's now 2/20 and I still do not have code 846 on my transcript with a date like a majority of other people.

My transcripts say today 2/24 but I haven’t gotten a deposit & my status on turbo tax went back to pending. Will I get it today?

Mine also said 2-24 and no deposit and TurboTax went back to pending , so confused and disappointed!

To everyone who has paid the money for the "five days early" ....I really hate saying this, but you were scammed. See, most people don't know this but the government sends your check that early anyway. That is how these banks are able to give you your money "early"... the aren't doing anything special for you...your money is already there. But the government requests them not to post it until whatever date.
