Is it safe to give people information over the phone for they can finish it by phone

You never want to give all of your information to somebody that is not in a secure environment. Turbo Tax employees are in a special protected space, using a private network for phones, while a friend would not be.

When I have to share something private with someone, I send part in a text, part in an email and tell them part. I never give a whole piece of information in an non-secure way.
