Is it too late to file online?

No, it's not too late to file a 2016 return online using the TurboTax website. Online TurboTax for 2016 will be available until mid-to-late October 2017.
The deadline for filing on-time, however, was April 18, unless one requested an extension by that deadline.
If you are due a Federal refund, there is no late penalty on a Federal return. States may have their own rules for late state returns.
If you owe taxes due, then you should prepare and file your return soon to minimize the penalties and interest.
