In the process of updating my INTUIT account, a great deal of financial information was requested by an account representative while using Live Look.    How can I be assured that the information  requested was and continues to be confidential ?  [name removed]

I'm not personally familiar with LiveLook ....
Ive posted this issue to a place where other SuperUsers and TurboTax Moderators will see it quicker...its smart of you to double check before giving out personal information...

Live Look was the program that the Intuit representative requested to use to see what I was seeing on my monitor in an attempt to resolve the problem.  Her access code was displayed in the lower right hand corner.  It is similar to Team Viewer that we use with our IT vendor.   I can provide more information is needed.  djl

Assuming that you are connected to a Turbotax representative (obtained the phone number from the web site and got a call back, and did not google some random scammer posing as tech support) then your information shared via Live Look is protected by the same privacy policy and guarantees as the rest of your tax return information.
