Is Paid Family Leave taxable in WA?

Hi - I received Family Leave due to bonding a child. Got a 1099-G form, but also got a letter from the state that says that the IRS did not give guidance if should be reported or not, in WA. Should it be reported? If so, is this reported on the Unemployment income section? Thanks.

Yes. Paid Family leave reported on a 1099-G is taxable on your Federal return and should be included when filing your return.  To enter into TurboTax, you will follow these steps:

Unemployment compensation and paid family leave are entered in the same place:

    1. Open or continue your tax return
    2. Search for 1099-G and select the Jump to link at the top of the search results
    3. On the "Did you or your Spouse receive unemployment or paid family leave benefits?" screen, answer Yes
    4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your 1099-G information
