Is Puerto Rico USA adress or foreign address for form 1099-R

Trying to fill a 1099-R for distribution on IRA from PR. It requires the payers address, asks if it is US address or foreign address. If i select US address, it does not show PR in the states drop down menu for selection. If i select foreign address, it does not show PR in the countries drop down menu for selection. so in essence no way to enter the distribution payer's address. Aany way to solve this?

Did you try the option for Other Countries from the Foreign County drop down list?

Hi, yes I tried using Other Countries in entering it as foreign address. I think all the data is entered correctly but when trying to proceed TT asks me to revise the entries by stating the address I entered for PR (A US territory) contains elements of both a US address and a foreign address. how to enter the address then?

When you are in the personal information section continue after your name to the address screen. Select the 'Type of mailing address' US Territory, then be sure to select Puerto Rico as the Territory. See the image below for assistance.
