Question

Is the download version of Turbotax Deluxe Desktop for Mac identical to the CD version? Assuming it is, is there any advantage to having a physical CD?

I buy the CD at Costco each year but would rather download it to my MacBook, as my town no longer accepts CDs for recycling.

The CD is the beta edition without any updates.  The Download software has the latest updates.

Operationally they are exactly the same.
