Is the IRS not ready to receive electronic tax submissions yet, or would my tax form submission not work because of something at TurboTax ?

Perhaps TurboTax is different, but my brother has already been able to successfully submit and complete his taxes using H&R Block's system. I paid enough for TurboTax that I would have expected the same level of service available.

The IRS is not officially accepting returns until January 29.

The prior answer that was posted is for the 2024 tax filing season.

This is the 2025 tax filing season and the IRS will start officially accepting 2024 tax returns on January 27, 2025.
