Is the NYS download available?

I have tried to start the NYS portion of my 2023 return. It keeps wanting to download NYS even though it stated it has been downloaded. It won't let me get past the "start' button without trying to download it again.

PS: I did find the "Edit Messages" link.

You should probably stop trying.

State forms are rarely available until sometime in January.

Right now, the Print-Only 2023 NY forms are expected to be ready 11 Jan 24,

....and e-file-ready 2023 NY forms after 25 January 24.

No promises though as sometimes those dates change, and a few forms in each list, might be posted as being "ready" even later;

Adding onto @SteamTrain 's reply -

If you did not sign onto your TurboTax account with your User ID and Password, select New York as the state to download and then click on the button Download State, then the state program was not downloaded.

TurboTax cannot automatically download a state tax program for you. You must initiate the download.

I did initiate the download while I was in the Turbotax Deluxe program itself. I have never had to sign in to get my free state download. It usually asked if you want that state to be your free state download. In the past I have, and will again this year, order and pay for another state for my son while in the program. I do have to call Intuit to get that 2nd state downloaded to my download list for possible future use. I am signed in now and will try to download NYS. I just went in and tried to download NYS and it said my software is up to date, still wants to re download it again. I think SteamTrain is right.

UPDATE: I just looked in my download list and w_new_york_ind_2023.000.0100.exe was in the list. I have never seen NYS listed before, other than the 2023 NYS, listed in my download list. The only ones listed are my 2nd state and my efifes. I downloaded the NYS executable file. While in the program, I activated the NYS download and it is still asking me to download NYS. I will check with support tomorrow.
