Is the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act 2024 going to keep my refund from me altogether until it clears the very unstable Senate?

No, the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act 2024 has passed the house, but not the Senate, which means it isn't affecting IRS operations at all right now.

 

The IRS waits until laws passed and signed before implementing them.

    So any refund should processed and paid out as usual without interruption?

    Yes, if you have a delay, it isn't because of this bill, which may not become a law.
