Is there a cheap version to file taxes for students who had no income for 2016 for both federal and state taxes?

Also, I used my father's Turbotax CD last year and can't find my tax return PDF for 2015. Is there a way I can retrieve this even if I didn't have an account set up online?

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

You can also get free transcripts of your federal return from the IRS - http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

If you had no income of any kind in 2016 then there is no benefit or reason to file a 2016 tax return.
