No, there has been no delay in electronically filing tax returns. The filing deadline has not been extended either. Please view thisTurboTax page for more information.

The answer to this question needs to be updated, given today's announcement by the IRS

There has been no delay in filing returns. The only change is the deferral of taxes due for 90 days.  The IRS is anxious to get refunds into taxpayer hands and willing to wait for their money.

“On Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announcedthat the IRS would defer $300 billion worth of tax payments for Americans and businesses in the midst of the coronavirus fallout.Mnuchin urged Americans who can afford it to still file their taxes by April 15, but he said that anyone who owes money to the IRS can defer that payment, interest-free, for 90 days, up to $1 million for individuals and up to $10 million for corporations.”
