Question

Is there a way to deduct taxes from my paycheck, if my employer doesn’t automatically deduct them because I’m an independent contractor?

I’ve been researching this question on the internet and I’ve found that I have to submit a W4 form to the company I work for, but because the company I work for considers me an independent contractor, I don’t think this will work for me. I guess I just want to know what my options are in regards to hopefully having taxes deducted from my paycheck.

If you are an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own tax payments.  The client (you are self-employed and you don't have an employer, you work for a client or vendor or some other business) could agree to withhold taxes and submit payments for you, but it is somewhat unusual and an extra paperwork burden for them.  You could ask, but I would not expect them to agree.
