Is there someway to navigate away from the 1095-A page if I accidentally selected it instead of B?

Yes, if you start over on the Health Insurance interview, you should be able to correct your entries.  (A 1095-B does not need to be entered in TurboTax, but you will want to keep it in a safe place with your other tax paperwork.)  In your open Federal return, choose the tab Health Insurance.  Then take the following steps:

  • On the page Did you all have health insurance coverage in 2018? choose the radio button next to the option which describes your situation and Continue
  • When you get to the page Was anyone covered by any of these plans in 2018? answer No

If you tried to enter information from your 1095-B before you realized it was the incorrect form, you may need to delete that information before your new choice will "stick."
