Question

It is not letting me e-file because it is saying that I need a payer's EIN instead of their SSN. I only have their SSN on my form 1099-NEC.

The file says that I can put the payer's EIN OR their SSN in order to file. I chose their SSN because it is all that they provided me with. It won't let me e-file without their EIN.

    Did you import this 1099-NEC?  You may need to delete it and then renter it manually.  And/or you can try clearing your cache and cookies.

     

    Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies?
