It keeps asking for 1099NEC and we don't have one, and it won't let me move on?

What is a 1099-NEC for?

@pmatkht , it is for "Non-Employee Compensation", like a self-employed contractor, consultant etc. In the old days this used to reported on 1099-MISC ( along with a whole bunch of other types of income) -- this is anew form. I suspect that in earlier years you had reported to TurboTax "Non-Employee Compensation" using 1099-MISC and so Turbo Tax is looking to make sure that if you have one, it is reported. If you do not have one, just tell it that you do not have one.
