It’s trying to charge me $120 to file my taxes how do I do it for free?

It shows you are in Deluxe.  In the regular Turbo Tax Free Edition, information that you can enter is limited now.  Why do I have to upgrade from the Free Edition?

Or see if you qualify for the Free File program.  It has more forms than the regular Free Edition.  You can start it at a special website.

Did you do state return? State is an additional $40 in Deluxe and above.

Deluxe is currently $40 (usually goes up on March 1)

State is also a separate 40 in all versions above the Free Edition

If you select to have the fees deducted from your refund there is an EXTRA 40 Pay with Refund Service charge (45 in California)
